Google, via its subsidiary VirusTotal, has selected Sansec as approved security vendor. Sansec will contribute its specialized intel on eCommerce security threats to the VirusTotal platform.
VirusTotal now leverages Sansec malware signatures
In January we announced our partnership with Europol and today, we are proud to be recognized by Google as experts in eCommerce security.
Sansec and Google have agreed on a data exchange and we trust that our intelligence will be put to good use. Other Google partners, such as the Safe Browsing initiative, may now use Sansec data to protect visitors from having their passwords and credit cards stolen.
On the heels of cyber criminals
Because Sansec specializes in eCommerce threats only, we are often the first to discover new attack vectors in this space. In fact, more than 60% of our threat intelligence is brand new and hasn't been identified by other vendors. In many cases, we discover malicious servers within hours of their launch.
So if you are unsure whether an eCommerce site is legitimate, look it up using VirusTotal and check the Sansec rating.
